A program called sync back is scheduled to run automatically on the backup player to check for any new or updated content on the primary player which is then copied over to the backup player.

Your buttons in display studio play the content to both primary and backup machines. At any given point, what is playing on the primary should be playing on the backup. If you have a DMP-7000, this will automatically happen. For DMP-8000, you can configure your content to play on both machines through Display Studio’s scripting buttons by checking the zone on both primary and backup.
