Venus Control Suite Security Measures

Daktronics takes the security of your displays, accounts and media content very seriously. So seriously in fact, that the ‘s’ in https://venus.daktronics.com actually stands for secure!

Our new Venus Control Suite System provides encrypted connections, stores your data in a secure cloud platform, and protects your account from unauthorized access.

Security

Venus Control Suite also utilizes an “Administrator/User” account model to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to make changes to your display content. There are two Administrators designated at the time your account is created, and they are the only people who can make changes to your account. If you’d like to make changes to your account, Daktronics will provide contact information for your Administrator(s).

Trainer Tip:  If you would like Daktronics to make changes to your display, we do offer Content Scheduling agreements, so click the banner below or give us a call at 1-800-DAKTRONics if you’re interested!

Scheduling

Account administrators have the ability to add or remove users and other Administrators. Daktronics recommends that you always maintain a minimum of two Administrators on every account to ensure continuity if an Administrator status change occurs.

In extremely unusual cases where no Administrators are listed on the account or are permanently unavailable, Daktronics can reset Administrator rights on customer accounts. This requires verification and documentation from an authorized customer representative.

This officially ends out first week of Venus Control Suite blog posts and our “All About Venus Control Suite” series. Be sure to check back in a couple of weeks (Wednesday, January 27th to be exact!) for our next Venus Control Suite post, which will focus on all the training options we have to offer.

In the meantime, if you just can’t wait, go ahead and visit http://www.daktronics.com/en-us/support/training for more information.  Thanks for reading!
