Daktronics Statcast interface was introduced this spring to the MLB. This interface allows the use of the Statcast to feed Daktronics systems for critical items such as pitch speed and pitch type.

Our technical support group was recently asked if we have any resources that describe how to verify the Statcast signal, and we have responded with this knowledge base article: How to confirm the MLB Statcast feed?

This article will prove useful if you are trying to troubleshoot communication concerns for this pitch data, as it explains how to confirm that data is being received from MLB Statcast feed through Data Server.

Any additional articles are posted in our knowledge base. As always, feel free to contact service if you can’t find what you are looking for.
