Depending on the type of the display, whether it’s fixed digit or LED, determines the All Sport Code used for the distribution of RTD data to be displayed. Depending on model of display and All Sport model there will be specific driver within the fixed digit display. It is important to understand your display type and which driver is being used within the display to use correct All Sport code. For almost all LED displays unless customized, the standard code can be used to get data to the LED video displays.

Example:

Sport codes are on the left edge of insert.understanding-which-all-sport-code-to-use

For basketball, code 1101 is the standard code.

However, if the display is a fixed digit scoreboard, the code will be dependent on the model of scoreboard. To see examples of the models and drivers associated, reference All Sport 5000 manual ED11976 Appendix C. Another article to reference is on the Daktronics knowledge base What All Sport Code should I use for my scoreboard?
