New Password Reset Feature for Venus Control Suite!

Have you ever forgotten a password before? If you’re like me, then you most definitely have! In our day and age, it seems like we have to remember 100 different passwords for all the different emails, programs, apps, and websites we use.

Of course, we can’t use the same password for everything because of the risk someone might steal our personal information. It also doesn’t help that every site has different password requirements!

Fortunately, and unfortunately, Venus Control Suite is no different. Fortunately, because it is a secure site, but unfortunately because it gives you another password to remember.

Does any of this sound familiar? It should because we previously blogged about it way back in February of 2017 to let you know what to do if you ever lost or forgot your Venus Control Suite password.

Well, guess what? We’ve made resetting your password even easier! With the latest updates made to the Venus Control Suite software, we added a “Forgot Your Password?” link to the login page.

Simply click on the link, type in your username (email address) and click the blue Send Email button.

You will then see a message informing you that an email has been sent. It may take a few minutes for you to receive the email. If you do not receive it, you can click on the blue Resend Email button to try again. We recommend checking your junk and spam folders before trying to resend, though.

When you do receive the email in your inbox, it will come from “no-reply@daktronics.com” with a Subject of “Venus Password Reset.” The email will contain a “Reset Password” link that you will need to click on to proceed.

When you click on the “Reset Password” link in your email from Daktronics, you will be taken to the “Reset Password” page. Simply type in a password ,then confirm your password and click the blue “Reset Password” button.  As long as your passwords match, you will have just successfully reset your password!

From there you will be taken to a screen confirming that you successfully reset your password. You also will receive another email from Daktronics confirming your password reset.

Once you have successfully reset your password, you can click on the blue Log In button. This button will take you back to the Venus Control Suite login page where you can login using your username (email address) and password.

This entire process should take no more than a few minutes. If you run into any problems along the way, give us a call at the phone number provided on the “Password Reset” pages (1-800-325-8766) for help.
