As we near the midpoint of the hockey season, SAP Center in San Jose is ready for the puck to drop on the NHL All-Star Game on January 26. The venue isn’t just the home of the San Jose Sharks. It’s also the home of 40 Daktronics LED displays totaling nearly 8,000 square feet to connect with and entertain fans.

Of those 40 displays, 17 feature a narrow pixel pitch (NPP) of 2.5-millimeter line spacing. The NPP displays were added during the 2016-17 season to bring additional branding and sponsorship opportunities to the venue for hockey and other events. At the same time, two additional marquee displays were added to the exterior of the facility to continue the branding and sponsorship efforts while also promoting upcoming events.
