A Look Inside IDEA 2017

Another IDEA Convention is in the books and we would like to thank everyone who joined us for the week in Philadelphia to make this year’s event a huge success, with a record breaking 580 people in attendance! Here are a few of our favorite highlights from IDEA 2017.

Daktronics Video Summit

Our Annual Daktronics Video Summit was held Sunday, July 9 and we were happy to welcome attendees from 7 teams to the seminar. Topics such as services resources, data integration, control system enhancements and our Professional Service offerings were covered and set the tone for a great week!

Those who attended the Daktronics Showcase on Tuesday afternoon got a first-hand look at our newly enhanced control system with features such as transitions, webpage playback and layering, all shown on our 4mm display and 6mm podium display.

In case you missed it, check out all of the new features for our next generation of control systems in this video.

Evening at Citizens Bank Ballpark

After a fun Showcase presentation, the Daktronics team enjoyed the evening excursion at the Home of the Philadelphia Phillies while revisiting our 2011 installation, the Daktronics 15mm main display. The IDEA Homerun Derby was the highlight of the evening. While no one on our team was able to hit one out of the park, it was great to see Daktronics on our own big screen!

Additionally, we were excited to share more information on our Professional Service offerings through our highlight video during the GMA Ceremony. Our Professional Services are comprised of a variety of Business, Technical, Creative and Operational offerings that can be customized to meet the needs of our customers, and it was exciting to share more about these offerings with an enthusiastic group.
