Automatic Emergency Alerts

Also, have you heard about the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS)? It contains the nation’s alert and warning infrastructure, from the Emergency Alert System to Wireless Emergency Alerts.

Daktronics recently integrated the IPAWS emergency alerts with our software. So, display operators simply choose their level of involvement by turning on alerts and selecting time and frequency. When there’s an alert in the area, a warning automatically runs on the display.

“The Venus® Control Suite and IPAWS interface streamlines the process of emergency management and offers a more comprehensive choice for our digital billboard owners,” says Jessie Koch, Daktronics product manager.
